Goodman extends lease agreement with Oriflame, maintaining 100% occupancy in Üllő


Goodman has secured a six year lease renewal agreement with Oriflame Hungary (Oriflame) at Üllő Airport Logistics Centre near Budapest in Hungary. The Hungarian subsidiary of the Swedish beauty company moved into the 17,000 sqm property five years ago, where the company has established its Central European logistics hub.

Oriflame occupies 100% of the second phase of development at Üllő Airport Logistics Centre, which comprises 16,000 sqm of warehouse space and 1,000 sqm of office and social space. This facility was specifically designed to Oriflame’s operational needs and criteria such as prime location, excellent transport connections and infrastructure, which were key in deciding the company’s selection of this property.

”When we began looking for a new distribution centre, our requirements not only focused on a modern, well located facility, but also one that would support the growth of our business. Goodman’s logistics park in Üllő continues to offer all of these features,” said Csaba Szuchy Oriflame Hungary. “Since starting our logistics operations at Üllő Airport Logistics Centre, our cooperation with Goodman has continued through their excellent property management, which has enabled us to focus on our core business.” 

The logistics centre was delivered in August 2010 as a built-to-suit facility for Oriflame for the distribution of their products to beauty consultants in Central Europe. As fast and precise service is crucial for the company, Oriflame operates a large Pick by Light system in the building, one of the most effective methods of order picking.

Strategic location; additional development opportunities
Only 21 kilometres from the centre of Budapest, Üllő Airport Logistics Centre is ideally located for logistics operations. The facility is only five kilometres from Liszt Ferenc International Airport and the intersection of M0 ring road and M4 motorway is in close proximity.

Üllő Airport Logistics Centre provides the opportunity to further expand the centre with a total leasable area of 110,000 sqm, which can be divided into smaller units starting at 3,000 sqm. 

The first phase of the logistics centre, comprising a 27,000 sqm warehouse and office facility, was delivered in November 2009 to German drugstore chain, Rossmann.
