Friday, 17 October 2014

Goodman, a leading owner, developer and manager of prime logistics space throughout Europe, has appointed Jaroslaw Czechowicz as Head of Portfolio Management for Central and Eastern Europe. The appointment of Czechowicz further strengthens Goodman’s Property Services team, which is a crucial part of its core operating activities and growth strategy in the region.

Czechowicz has more than seven years’ experience at Prologis, most recently as Head of Property Management in Poland. In his new role as Head of Portfolio Management for CEE, he will oversee more than 750,000 sqm of logistics space for Goodman throughout the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Czechowicz will be responsible for ensuring that Goodman’s properties in the region are managed to the highest standards and customers receive the excellent service and support for which Goodman is known. Goodman’s Property Services team has been a leading contributor to Goodman’s 96% occupancy rate and high retention rate.

“Central and Eastern Europe is a growth region for Goodman, particularly Poland where we will soon double the size of our portfolio compared to the last fiscal year,” explained Błażej Ciesielczak, Goodman Regional Director Central and Eastern Europe. “As our portfolio continues to grow, Goodman has invested in a strong and experienced leader to manage our team of technical and operational experts who will play a critical role in sustaining the company’s growth in the region.”

Among other Goodman properties, Czechowicz is responsible for one of the largest logistics centres in Central and Eastern Europe in Wroclaw, Poland, developed for Amazon, one of the Group’s multinational customers. In addition to large international companies, Czechowicz will focus on strengthening Goodman’s relationship with medium-sized national and European customers based at various logistics centres across the Central and Eastern European region.
